About the program
The Pharmacy Technician course from Conestoga College includes the basic biological sciences, pharmacology, pharmaceutical calculations, compounding and sterile preparations. Through a combination of theory, practical laboratories and work experience placements, graduates are prepared to practice to the full scope of a Registered Pharmacy Technician as they receive, order and manage inventory, prepare, compound and dispense medications, and assist with the provision of pharmaceutical care and pharmacy services.
